CLEVELAND DANCE PROJECT SHOWCASE MINORITY SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS
CDP is an inclusive dance family that welcomes people of all races, religions, genders, sexualities, cultures, identities, etc. In an effort to encourage our growing diversity, we offer minority scholarships each season that cover the cost of tuition. Winners are chosen based on diversity and talent. Applicants must submit a headshot, dance resume, dance reel or video of recent work, and their nonrefundable $25 application/audition fee by showcase auditions. You may also include an optional essay to strengthen your application. It should be 500 words or less, and can include anything you feel would support your reel, including how being a minority has affected your dance experience.
Minority applicants must also attend showcase auditions at Cleveland Dance Project. This application will be considered your registration, so no need to register separately. Please read the audition registration page for more details on auditions. If you are unable to make auditions, you can still apply. However, scholarship preference & casting preference is given to those who attend auditions.
