Katelyn Braunegg
Teaches: Beg/Int Jazz
Katelyn Braunegg's love for dance began at the age of three when she first heard The Lion King movie soundtrack. From age three through high school, Katelyn extensively trained in all styles of dance and danced competitively starting at the age of 8. Her dancing took her all over the US where she won individual and team championships. After graduating from high school, Katelyn attended Kent State University where she participated in many of Kent's dance program performances and also was a member of multiple summer intensive programs. Katelyn was also a Canton Charge Dancer for one season where she performed at half time for all home games and also at a few Cleveland Cavalier games as well. Her love of choreographing started to develop while she was teaching Jazz and Lyrical to ballet students during her college years. Katelyn was also a member of the Live Entertainment Divison at Cedar Point Amusement Park where she was a dancer in one of their Halloween shows, "Sideshow: A Carnival of Magic". Katelyn works full time in Marketing but enjoys being a member of Cleveland Dance Project’s community and performance opportunities!
